Celebrating these creatures that make our planet extraordinary, Vans and the Discovery Channel have partnered for a collection that supports Project CAT’s mission of ensuring a healthy habitat for future generations of tigers.

Embodying the tiger’s fiery, “Off The Wall” spirit, the Vans X Project CAT Kids ComfyCush Sk8-Hi Zip features a print that showcases tigers in the wild, and across the laces, we’ve highlighted Project CAT’s goal: Protect Tigers. Made with organic textile uppers and ComfyCush technology, this upgraded high top shoe includes a co-molded construction of foam and rubber for comfort, rubber outsoles offering durability and traction, simplified one-piece interiors with added arch support, and moisture-wicking lining materials throughout the interior of the shoe. A zipper entry at the heel offers increased access and versatility. No animal products were used in this collection.

In connection with this collaboration, Vans and Discovery will be donating $20,000 directly to the World Wildlife Fund, because we must support the creatures that can’t stand up for themselves.

ChromeFree leather is soft and light. Coming from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process in which no chrome, heavy metals or dangerous acids are used. By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals, energy, water use is reduced by approximately 40% and salt use by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable.

Little adventurers need a proper pair of boots to go adventuring in. And the MTN ATTACK 3 LT TEXAPORE MID is everything you’d expect from a proper pair of adventuring boots! The boot is waterproof, provides good support and is also suitable for more demanding terrain.

The special EVA midsole cushions every step and makes the boot extremely comfortable to walk in, which is particularly important on longer hikes. It has a rubber outsole with an anti-slip tread that delivers good grip on rock, forest trails and uneven, muddy terrain. The upper extends to above the ankle and provides very good support. The moulded rubber toe cap provides extra protection.

A waterproof TEXAPORE membrane keeps the foot dry even in heavy rain. The boot is made predominantly of leather, so it is very breathable, and the fit adapts to suit the shape of the foot.

We want to make it as easy as possible for kids to enjoy their outdoor adventures, so we have equipped the boot with a child-friendly lacing system.
